Hybrid Notebook Lenovo IdeaPad U1 will be released in installments

Portal Engadget citing Lenovo revealed details of the hybrid notebook Lenovo IdeaPad U1, which was first introduced some time ago - at the CES show in January this year. Recall, the device should have come in the form of 11.6-inch laptop with detachable screen, which could work independently as a tablet. But then the release of the device was postponed because of the transfer plate with a proprietary Linux platform at the popular operating system Android.


According to Engadget, now Lenovo IdeaPad U1 is divided into two separate products: 10.1-inch tablet LePad released in China in December and will be designed to compete with Apple iPad. It was only in January to join LePad optional docking station with a QWERTY keyboard, turning it into a real laptop.

It is expected that among the characteristics of the tablet - Chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon, 16 GB flash drive and 512 MB of RAM, and a laptop equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 128 GB SSD drive and runs on Windows 7. On the date of issue of the tablet-notebook in the other regions so far nothing is known.
